Sem ung stúlka stundaði hún frekar óhefbundnar veiðar með ömmu sinni, draumurinn um að verða kennari. vinnan hjá sýslumanni og síðar Árborg og eins kíkti dómarinn Ásta í heimsókn. Bláskógabyggð á hins vegar hug hennar allan síðasliðin ár, uppbyggingin, framkvæmdirnar og framtíðin. Það var virkilega gaman að hafa Ástu í spjalli.
